Larry E. Carver – President
Before organizing Carver & Associates in 1983, Larry was president of Peachtree Purchasing Company with John C. Portman, architect and developer. Larry’s background includes experience with real estate developers, Cushman Corporation and Jack P. DeBoer Associates. Over the years, he has worked with many elite hotel brands including InterContinental Hotels Group, Hilton and Starwood Hotels.
Bob Richey – Chief Financial Officer
Bob has over 30 years of experience in accounting, taxes, payroll, account reconciliation, and accounts payable and receivable. He left his own company in developing independent pharmacies, to join Carver in 2008. His education includes a Bachelor of Science Degree from Lamar University in Texas.
James DuBois – Director of Operations
James began his career at Carver & Associates in 1999. He works closely with the Interior Design, and Project Management teams to evaluate potential and incoming projects, and reviews strategies to determine best practices. His mentoring, training and professional development of the Project Management Team, along with his dedication to the standardization of processes and procedures for improved productivity and quality control, are key to our successes and that of our clients.
Melanie Alonzo – Director of Interior Design
Melanie joined Carver & Associates in 2007. In addition to her degree in Design, Melanie has prior experience in residential lighting and is American Lighting Association (ALA) certified. Melanie directs the Turnkey projects and designers, facilitating custom designs for every brand both domestically & internationally. She works closely with the project managers and sales team to oversee each project. Melanie embraces the importance of staying current on industry trends and forecasts and innovations.
Kelly Myhan – Sales Development
Kelly joined Carver & Associates in 2000. He is a vital asset to our growing turnkey division. He works with the design department to ensure that all brand requirements are satisfied and is in contact with vendors to achieve an established delivery schedule. He is dedicated to personally seeing each project through to completion.
Doug Roam – Managing Partner
Doug came to Carver & Associates in 2000 after a successful career in hotel development and construction project management. Doug is the managing partner in the company’s office in Griffin, Georgia. He is responsible for sales and contract negotiation of numerous hotels each year and travels extensively to provide on-site construction and FF&E expertise for clients.
Terri Smith – Director of Operations
Terri has over fifteen years’ experience in hospitality purchasing and project coordination. She joined Carver & Associates in 2000, and is in charge of sales operation and project management in the Griffin office. Terri has been a key player in the opening of more than 200 hotels during her career with Carver.
Lydia Riehl – Vice President of Operations
Lydia has over 30 years of professional purchasing and management experience. She began her career with Hilton Equipment Corporation in Southern California providing project management and FF&E purchasing for such flagship Hilton hotels as the Las Vegas Hilton, Flamingo Hilton, Palmer House and Waldorf Astoria. Lydia joined Carver & Associates in early 1997 to direct the company’s Western Division, specializing in hotel/casino FF&E purchasing and project management.
Bill McGinnis – Senior Project Director
Bill joined Carver & Associates in the summer of 2004. His prior experience includes Food and Beverage Director for Fitzgerald’s Hotel and Casino, where he worked for thirteen years elevating the property with complete remodels of both rooms and public areas. Bill is our primary tribal project expert. He’s leading Carver & Associate’s most recent tribal project, Chumash Casino Resort. Prior tribal projects he handled include Morongo Casino & Resort and San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino. Currently he is the head liaison for InterContinental Hotels Group projects handled by the Las Vegas office, including over 11,000+ rooms for corporately owned properties within the Intercontinental Hotels Group portfolio.
Chang Kuk Ko – President of KOH & Carver and Associates
Chang Ko has been working with Carver & Associates since early 1993. He has been in the import/export business in Korea for over twenty years and has been active in the contract industry since 1992. Mr. Ko is a designer and artist by profession and manages all work in Korea.
Jorge Pino – Managing Partner
George is an architect and interior designer who studied at Pratt Institute and Parsons School of Design, and began working in conjunction with Carver and Associates. In 2007. He has 30 years of experience in architecture, interior design, and project and construction management. George has owned his own firm since 1980, completing numerous hospitality, commercial, and corporate projects. Mr. Pino is responsible for the management and direction of our Mexico City office.
Maribel Gil – Director of Interior Design
Maribel has worked with Carver & Associates since 2007. She studied Philosophy and Art History at the National University in Mexico, UNAM, and San Carlos Academy of Arts. Maribel has also studied in Europe and New York in association with the Arts Students League. Her works are displayed in numerous exhibits internationally. Maribel works as a designer selecting and specifying products and finishes as well as consulting with art selections for numerous brands of hotels.

Lisa Parr – Business Development Director
Lisa joined Carver & Associates in 2014. Previously she was a Certified General Residential Real Estate Appraiser, in addition she worked as a Computer Programmer Analyst. She has 10 years of Hospitality Design experience. Her expertise includes design development, and project management of hotel renovations as well as new build hotels, from conception through completion. She has also exercised the skills of constructing documents into Auto-CAD, client presentations, brand approval coordination; custom furniture and millwork design and installation management.
Ahmed Z. Hamadeh – Business Development Manager
Ahmed joined Carver & Associates in 2015. Previously he was an acting Operations and Development Vice Manager in food chain restaurants. He has also managed business projects related to FF&E and installments. In addition, he planned and handled organizational events. He has over 6 years of cultural and business related experience in the Saudi Arabia market. His expertise along with the cultural background will help develop the presence of Carver & Associates in the GCC region.
Anubhuti Patodi – Architect
Anubhuti Patodi is a registered architect by the council of architecture India, after graduation she came to America for higher education and earned Master’s degree from Auburn University US. She gained experience by working with Balfour Beatty, Hunter homes and Hensel Phelps on various projects like US federal courthouse, Airport Orlando and Boca Raton Stadium. Now she owns an architecture firm, Infinity India, since 2010 where she is responsible for launching and spreading wings of “Carver & Associates” business in India.
Danae Salivaras Counduros – South America
Danae M. Salivaras Counduros earned her degree from the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina. She gained experience as an architect and project manager with AMSIS Construcciones as part of the design and planning team for industrial building works and applied her creative design skills to provide customers with ideas for their homes. She then went on as Project Coordinator for apartment building projects for the Forum Puerto Madero and Beccar Plaza apartments. Danae then rounded out her experience with First SouthAmerican Investments as Site and FF&E Project Manager on FSA Headquarters (Petit Hotel), Project Manager for Optima Business Park offices and FF&E Project Manager and Purchasing Manager for Grace Cafayate Hotel. She is now using her extensive experience, creativity and knowledge to help Carver & Associates grow a larger presence in Buenos Aires.
Prior to Partnering with Carver and Associates, Manuela Kennedy was Director of Supply Chain for Westmont Hospitality Group. She has worked on various projects globally, from new construction, renovations, project management, procurement and design with brands such as Fairmont, Raffles, Swiss Hotels, Starwood, IHG, Hilton, Marriott, Delta Hotels and Choice International. Her unparalleled knowledge, and experience with over 32 brands has given her a wide network that encompasses all of the key players, from contractors, designers, architects, vendors, as well as brands.
